Ready to finish your book? When you work with me, you work with a meticulous editor who cares deeply about each project and will guide you at every step. I have a writing MFA, extensive industry knowledge, and eight years of experience in the field.
My Mission
As a creative writer myself, I am passionate about helping people share their stories. I consider myself a positive editor, as I focus on the strengths of a work and how the rest can hold similar weight. I always honor the writer’s voice and vision, and I bring immense dedication and precision to each project.
Editing Services
I provide affordable editing services for indie authors, which include developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, proofreading, manuscript evaluations, poetry editing, and more. Please note that I edit in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam Webster (US English) to ensure consistency with industry standards.
What I Edit
I have an affinity for poetry and literary fiction (including speculative works and magical realism). But my portfolio spans a wide range that includes memoirs, self-help, psychology, romance, thrillers, mysteries, YA and middle grade, fantasy, children’s books, and more, so just ask me.
In addition to manuscript editing, I edit web content and academic content. I work with small publishers, small businesses, first-time authors, and award-winning authors.
About the Editor
I’m a Philly-based editor, poet, and caffeine enthusiast. In my spare time, I read and write poetry in cafes. In addition to my editing business, I’m the founder + editor-in-chief of a literary magazine called Cypress Review. Here’s my writing playlist, and here are my current reads.
